Valley View Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Middletown, Indiana.
Valley View Golf Course first opened for play in 1964. The course was designed by Elbert & Vivian Ratliff.
Holes #1 through 14 are hilly. Fall Creek comes into play on six holes and ponds come into play on two other holes. The difficulty in Valley View lies in your approach shots. Small greens require accuracy, as do the 40-60 feet elevation changes. Shots must rise 40 feet to meet the green.
The signature hole is #1, a 310 yard, par-4, that requires an approach shot to a pear-shaped green.
Blue tees: par-72, 6,421 yards, 70.3 / 114
White tees: par-72, 6,067 yards, 68.9 / 111
Red tees: par-72, 5,281 yards, 69.9 / 109

Considering the fairways are not watered, the course plays well in late spring and early summer. The view is excellent. With some imagination and available cash, this course could be one of the best around. The layout has so much potential. Staff does a good job with small budget.
